Having completed a degree at Cornell University in Nutritional Sciences, a dietetic internship (think medical residency for nutritionists!) at the competitive Yale New Haven Hospital, and passed a national licensure exam… you can rest assured that you have found a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist who knows her stuff!
Besides all the fancy pieces of paper, my passion & motivational skills are apparent within moments of meeting me. I truly live and breathe the phrase “practice what you preach,” which means I am chuck full of real life examples as to how to get you to your goals. As such, you’ll sense my excitement in helping you solve your nutrition-related problems… because, believe me, together we will be able to solve them!
When I am not counseling, I work as a clinical dietitian in a hospital with acutely ill patients. When not at work, you can find me running, blogging, practicing yoga, or lifting weights in the gym. I love to cook & experiment in the kitchen, so I definitely spend a lot of time there as well! A great place to learn more about my cooking-adventures is on the WIAW (What I Ate Wednesday) tab of my blog. I also spend lots of time drooling over foodie blogs/websites. But don’t judge. My WIAW posts will have you doing the same in no time!
