We start the week of November 3rd with breaks for Thanksgiving (November 22 through November 30) and the winter holiday (December 22, 2025 through January 4th, 2026).

Eat like an Athlete : LA Marathon Edition is 15 weeks total not including breaks for holidays.

Foundations (November 3- December 20)

Live Call One: Kickoff + Intra-run fueling + hydration (intra-run carb needs, sodium/fluid, how to practice in long runs)

Live Call Two: Daily Nutrition Foundations (macros, fueling your base runs, key nutrients for runners)

Live Call Three: Pre-run fueling strategies (timing, carb choices, gut training intro)

Build Phase (January 5 – February 1)

Live Call Four: Post-run recovery fueling (protein timing, anti-inflammatory foods, red flags for underfueling)

Live Call Five: Carb loading science (& "rehearsal!") + taper week nutrition

Peak Phase (February 2 - February 22)

Live Call Six: Runner specific nutrients + micronutrients for adaptation (iron, vitamin D, calcium, omega-3s)

Live Call Seven: Race rehearsal nutrition (finalize gels/fluids, race-morning fueling, troubleshooting GI issues)

What if I can't attend the monthly live calls? When are the calls?

The calls will take place from the week of November 17 through March 8th. They are recorded for you to watch at your convenience & previous calls are recorded and available for watching in the portal. The date/time of the call changes every month.

What if I am traveling a lot? Does this program still work?

The lessons I am teaching you are meant to be applied every single day of a runner's life. Learning how to think like a sports dietitian means you'll be able to stock your travel bag with the best snacks for training and make informed decisions at restaurants.

Additionally, many of the recipes are created to be SUPER SIMPLE and could even be made while traveling.

Do you have a vegetarian, vegan and or gluten free meal plan?

Yes, there are recipes to accomodate all dietary restrictions.

Can I pay with insurance? Or my HSA/FSA card?

Insurance is not accepted, but you can use a health savings account (HSA/FSA) card to pay for enrollment.

This program is designed to sync your fueling strategy with the mileage build and training structure from the LA Road Runners coach; so your nutrition periodization grows right alongside your marathon training plan.

What if I'm a newbie runner? Is this program still for me?

Yes, absolutely! Eat like an Athlete Bootcamp was designed to meet the needs of any runner training for a race that takes 75+ minutes to complete.

I have a sensitive stomach and can't eat during running. Is this program for me?

Honestly, this program is ESPECIALLY right for you!! So many of the lessons are specifically about troubleshooting GI issues before, during and after a run.

Is this program appropriate for someone actively recovering from an eating disorder or with an active eating disorder?

No <3 This program does not include enough customization or support for an individual on an eating disorder recovery journey. While the content has been organized & presented in a way that SHOULD NOT be triggering to those who have fully recovered from an eating disorder, I cannot recommend Eat like an Athlete Bootcamp to those who are still actively recovery.

Do I get to keep the resources/calls?

Yes, you will have lifetime access to the videos, resources and trainings.
